Meet Margaret, a passionate African leader committed to social justice, education, and institutional development. With over a decade of experience in project management and human rights, Margaret has dedicated her career to transforming the educational landscape, especially for marginalized communities. Prior to her role as Senior Manager at Zizi Afrique Foundation, she led as the Acting CEO of RELI Africa, where she helped institutionalize the organization, building systems and leadership for lasting impact. Margaret’s previous experience includes serving as Programme Manager at EACHRights, where she championed children’s rights and access to education in vulnerable communities.

As Senior Manager in the Executive Director’s Office at Zizi Afrique Foundation, Margaret supports the ED in driving strategic initiatives and organizational growth. She supports fundraising and ensuring alignment of the foundation’s programs with its mission. With her expertise in governance, reporting, and leadership development, Margaret contributes to the efficiency and impact of the foundation’s operations.

Margaret holds an M.A. in International Relations and has a unique perspective on education. She understands that true change goes beyond classrooms and policies. She’s deeply committed to addressing the deep-rooted barriers that affect so many communities, recognizing how it limits potential and reinforces cycles of inequity. For Margaret, leadership is about heart, people, and creating spaces for healing and transformation. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, swimming, and is currently learning how to play lawn tennis.
