Nancy is a finance practitioner with 20 years of experience in internal & external audit, strategic financial & grant Management; development and maintenance of strong internal control systems & policies; risk management, statutory & operational compliance, budget development, monitoring, compliance, and checks. I have extensive working experience with international development organizations with an in-depth understanding of donor needs & requirements.

As a strategic thinker and change agent, I bring a healthy balance between academic and practice in my area of work. I am passionate about building effective and efficient systems and processes, supporting and mentoring people that would drive and maintain the processes. As a budding scholar my research interests are in the profitability of commercial banks as well as sustainability assurance - the frameworks, processes, and challenges of sustainability. Other areas of interest are quality learning and teaching in higher education and disability inclusion in education.
