Like many of his works, this one is not purely comedy. It is not satire either. It is something that reminds us of the importance of culture and social value in Ethiopian identity. In the video below, he rejects “christmas tree” gift as something unworthy and praised a book that seem to talk about Ethiopia identity.
Yet, he also brought the issue of economic hardship for Ethiopians when he talks about that Ethiopians are these days unable to afford a kilo of Tire Siga , Ethiopian delight. Watch.
