Toronto – Despite complete loss of legitimacy and widespread security crisis, Abiy Ahmed does seem to have control over the military.
While not downplaying the argument that ruling a country in an extended state of emergency is not a sign of strength or power, it is undeniable that the war between the Federal government and TPLF, and the ongoing war in the Amhara and Oromia regions have has helped Abiy Ahmed’s administration to consolidate power. Yet, the administration does not have absolute control over much of Ethiopia.
With all that, Abiy Ahmed’s government is said to have interest in waging a war against Eritrea. What do you think about it ? Share your views in the comment section.

It’s not like that of unimaginable! Abnormal ego could drive the PM even the war with Eritrea with the hope that TPLF will aly. He might badly needs to disintegrate the northern semetic peoples so as not to unite against his tribes. It will be devastating for all the horn of Africa. He dreams, if he can dismantle Eritrea at any cost, he hopes subdue Amhara is likely under control and the play card on the Eastern Africa will be with his
hand! Nevertheless, it is well known by the Eritrean as a life and death issue. The whole region will be drawn to the longest and partisan conflict!
